KAK was founded in 1971 and follows the rules of “The International Football Association Board”. The union have worked for many years for inclusion in the international football association FIFA and continues to work towards the goal.
National championships is held every year for juniors, seniors and oldboys. There are also Childrens Cup for children under 14 years.
The national team participates in the Arctic Winter Games and Island Games.
