Kalaallit Volleyball-ertartut Kattuffiat (KVK) was founded in 1983 and is a member of Federation International de Volleball (FIVB).
Greenlandic natinal teams have participated in qualification tournaments for the European Championships, which are also called the Small Nations Cup.
Greenland national teams participates in Arctic Winter Games and Island Games. National championsships are held yearly.
